Role: Actor (Performing Haemon), Co-Writer, Choreographer
An intimate, collaborative film + theatre project re-imagining the Greek myth of Antigone through the experiences of Puerto Rican communities in both the archipelago and New York City.
I participated as actor and co-writer in Part I (2024), a hybrid film installation weaving together documentary footage, rehearsal documentation, and staged enactments;
I perform the role of Haemon (son of Creon, king of Thebes), alongside an autobiographical version of myself.
For Part III (2026) I return as actor, co-writer, and choreographer, continuing the work’s evolution for the stage.
